Ahmadinejad in the United Nations!
Once again Ahmadi Nejad is attending the General Assembly meeting of the U.N. Ahmadinejad is the head of the most notorious and tyrannical regime in the 21st century. Reports after reports have been put together on the details of the crime committed by the Islamic regime in Iran. This includes a report by Ahmad Shahid, United Nations Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in Iran,Ahmadinejad in the United Nations! who has not even been allowed into Iran by the regime. Ahmadinejad and his regime have ordered kidnapping, torturing and executing thousands of people in Iran. Is this a good enough reason to isolate this regime, and to expel leaders of the Islamic regime of Iran from the international communities? Not, according to United Nations' invitation to Ahmadinejad and his team of thugs and criminals.
Allowing Ahmadinejad and other statesmen from the Islamic regime to attend the U.N. assemblies, and any other international gatherings for that matter, is legitimising a criminal regime which has no legitimacy for people in Iran and millions of people around the world. If Hitler was in power, would U.N. allowed him to attend their General Assembly to have a dialog with him? What type of dialog can one have with a dictator which has blood on his hands? The Islamic regime has been a killing machine for more than three decades.
On behalf of thousands of political prisoners and their families in Iran, I condemn the invitation of Ahmadinejad by U.N. to attend the General Assembly meeting. Islamic regime of Iran must be expelled from all international assemblies and organisations. Ahmadinejad and heads of states of the Islamic regime must be arrested and put on trial for committing crimes against humanity in Iran for the last 33 years.
U.N. has been deliberately ignoring the will of the people in Iran who have been struggling against this regime for freedom and equality.
On behalf of Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran (CFPPI) I urge all concerned individuals and organisations, to show their strongest condemnation by writing to Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General for inviting Ahmadinejad to General Assembly of the U.N.
